The heart of the offseason is complete and the Flyers were certainly busy. The trade of Kevin Hayes to the St. Louis Blues came complete, though not as big as originally anticipated. The trade for Tony DeAngelo is also agreed upon and remains expected to be completed once the original trade reaches its one-year anniversary.
The Flyers drafted Russian forward Matvei Michkov with the seventh overall pick as Danny Briere swings for the fences on the Flyers future. They also selected defenseman Oliver Bonk in the first round. Eight more players were drafted on Day 2. In free agency, the Flyers added low-cost depth signings in Ryan Poehling, Garnet Hathaway, and Marc Staal.

The week of the NHL Draft is here and the Flyers are active.
On Saturday, there were reports of two potential trades that could change the Flyers roster. Kevin Hayes appears to be on his way to St. Louis. Is Travis Sanheim going too? Can the Flyers get a third pick in the first round of the NHL Draft? In addition, Tony DeAngelo could be going back to Carolina. Plus, more on the possibility of seeing Scott Laughton, Travis Konecny, or Carter Hart in trades.
The guys also discuss the Flyers jersey reveal and look ahead to the NHL Draft, discussing potential players they could pick at seventh and 22nd overall.

The Stanley Cup has been awarded and the NHL offseason is here, but that didn't stop Danny Briere from getting a head start. The Flyers made big news with a three-team trade, sending Ivan Provorov to Columbus, acquiring Sean Walker and Cal Petersen from Los Angeles, as well as acquiring a first-round pick, two second-round picks, and prospect defenseman Helge Grans.
They also made several changes to the front office, specifically the player development department. Valerie Camillo will be leaving Comcast Spectacor and the Flyers. Two more hires were made as Special Advisors to Hockey Operations and they are familiar faces.
The guys discuss everything surrounding the Flyers from the Provorov trade to the front office moves to other trade rumors out there at the moment. They also break down the Stanley Cup Final and the Vegas Golden Knights winning the title in just their sixth season in the NHL.

The guys are back with a new YWT podcast episode after a week off. In the last two weeks, the Flyers were officially eliminated from playoff contention, gone on a seven-game losing streak, and it was announced that Dave Scott will be stepping down as Flyers Governor. Dan Hilferty will take over as CEO of Comcast-Spectacor and Flyers Governor.
In their most recent game, the Flyers lost to the Boston Bruins, who set a new NHL record with their 63rd win of the season. David Pastrnak scored a hat trick to reach 60 goals on the season and 300 for his career. The guys discuss the Bruins season as well as the Flyers' place in this historic victory and how Wells Fargo Center turned to TD Garden South.
