The guys are back for the post-trade deadline show and have a lot to talk about from an eventful week of Flyers hockey.
Prior to the deadline, the Flyers traded Sean Walker to the Colorado Avalanche and got a first-round pick in return. They signed a four-year contract extension with Nick Seeler. They acquired depth in Denis Gurianov and Erik Johnson. They kept Scott Laughton as another locker room culture move.
In the midst of this activity, they secured their best win of the season against the Florida Panthers and their worst loss of the season against the Tampa Bay Lightning. John Tortorella got ejected from Saturday's game and then suspended for two more games.
The guys discuss everything around the deadline, the moves the Flyers made and didn't make and the messaging. They also dive into the results of the past week, the Tortorella suspension, and look ahead at this week's schedule. Finally, they also look at other trade deadline moves around the NHL.

YWT #207 - Playoff-Style Mentality
Sunday Feb 11, 2024
Sunday Feb 11, 2024
The Flyers are back from the All-Star break and back in the win column. The team swept their three games this week, all in different style.
After struggling at the start against Florida, the Flyers turned things around in the final two periods and dominated, finding a way to win a close game with Noah Cates scoring the game-winner. Against Winnipeg two nights later, the Flyers controlled the first period, but struggled in the final 40 minutes, despite putting away a 4-1 victory. Saturday offered more of a complete effort with Cal Petersen getting the win in goal and Sean Couturier scoring the eventual game-winning goal.
After another week of action, the Flyers remain in third place in the Metropolitan Division and now have a six-point lead on the fourth-place New York Islanders.
On this week's episode, the guys break down all of the action from the three games and look ahead to the next week of action, which includes the 2024 NHL Stadium Series against the New Jersey Devils at MetLife Stadium on Saturday night.

YWT #206 - Uncomfortable
Sunday Feb 04, 2024
Sunday Feb 04, 2024
The All-Star break has come and gone for the Flyers. Despite the lack of games, it was still an eventful week.
There was further developments regarding Carter Hart. The goaltender was charged with one count of sexual assault, confirmed by his lawyers in a statement. The pending press conference from London Police remains scheduled for Monday, Feb. 5.
There were also rumors that the Flyers are "taking calls" on Scott Laughton. As the trade deadline starts to draw closer, and the team comes back to earth, what could the trade deadline look like for Danny Briere and the Flyers?
The guys also take a quick look back at the All-Star weekend festivities and look ahead to the Flyers first three games out of the break.

YWT #205 - It's Been A Month
Sunday Jan 28, 2024
Sunday Jan 28, 2024
The Flyers have reached the All-Star break, thankfully. A busy month came to a close on the ice with a five-game losing streak, capped off by three more losses this week to Tampa Bay, Detroit, and Boston.
Off the ice, there were plenty of happenings as well. The news of Carter Hart's indefinite leave of absence was the big story, and has left plenty of room for assumptions amid reports on the Hockey Canada investigation.
Additionally, the Flyers announced contract extensions for Owen Tippett and Ryan Poehling. Tippett signed for eight years with a $6.2 million AAV and Poehling got a two-year extension with a $1.9 million AAV.
Finally, the team celebrated Mark Recchi and the 50th anniversary of the 1974 Stanley Cup champions with a festive Alumni Weekend that featured an alumni game and Recchi's Flyers Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

YWT #204 - Goal Of The Year
Sunday Jan 21, 2024
Sunday Jan 21, 2024
The week for the Flyers largely revolved around the week for Owen Tippett. The forward scored the game-winning goal on Monday in St. Louis in highlight-reel fashion, then topped it with a Goal of the Year candidate in a dominant Flyers win on Thursday against Dallas.
But then the Flyers struggled in a weekend back-to-back, and Tippett exited Saturday's game against Colorado with a lower-body injury and ultimately missed Sunday's game. While the outlook for Tippett is positive, he is currently day-to-day and could be questionable for all three remaining games before the All-Star break.
The guys look at the week that was for the Flyers, from the two wins to stretch a winning streak to five to the back-to-back losses that represent a missed opportunity to widen the gap between themselves and the playoff cutline. They talk about Tippett's impact and growth, look at the pros and cons of the 11 forward/7 defensemen lineup that the team has employed regularly, and look ahead to another busy week before the All-Star break arrives.

YWT #203 - Becoming The Villain
Sunday Jan 14, 2024
Sunday Jan 14, 2024
Well, that was a week.
Just minutes after puck drop on Monday, the Flyers made the shocking announcement that they had traded prospect Cutter Gauthier to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for Jamie Drysdale and a 2025 second-round pick. What happened that led to this trade? Why now? Why wouldn't Gauthier sign with the Flyers? The guys dissect every angle of the trade.
The guys also take a closer look at Jamie Drysdale. What can fans expect from the 21-year-old defenseman? What does this acquisition mean for the Flyers rebuild?
Finally, the guys get to the play on the ice. After a loss to Pittsburgh that was the secondary story on Monday, the Flyers have won the next three games, including two comeback wins over Montreal and Minnesota, then a 2-0 shutout win over the NHL-leading Winnipeg Jets.
